Attorney Lynette Mendoza Villa
Attorney Lynette Mendoza Villa has practiced exclusively as a real estate attorney for over 20 years, focusing on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, and development projects. Attorney Mendoza Villa serves as counsel to various banks and lending institutions as well as private lenders and handles commercial and residential real estate matters. Attorney Mendoza Villa handles the research, due diligence work, and preparation and negotiation of documents, including leases, purchase and sale agreements and closing documentation.
In addition to private individuals, Attorney Mendoza Villa has represented housing authorities for many years, including serving as a hearing officer for the New Britain Housing Authority and the Hartford Housing Authority. She has significant experience in the HUD mandated grievance process for subsidized housing and has assisted clients in obtaining loans and grants through various community and state programs and entities such as House Hartford, Hartford Housing Authority, HEDCO, Inc., HOME, HOPE VI, Hartford GAP program, and the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development.
