Attorney Jennifer Elyse Karr studied English, philosophy, and writing at the University of Central Florida, graduating with a B.A. in 2010 and an M.F.A. in 2013.  While in law school at the University of Connecticut, Jenn was the commentary editor of the Connecticut Law Review and an intern and teaching assistant at the UConn School of Law Low Income Tax Clinic.  She advanced in the Loiselle Moot Court competition and earned the CALI award in American Racial Slavery and American Law.  

After graduating law school, with honors, in 2016, Attorney Karr practiced, in estate planning, creditors rights litigation, and probate litigation at an Am Law 200 law firm in Hartford and later changed her practice to focus on insurance defense and toxic tort defense at another large Hartford law firm. At CLG, Jenn will continue to focus her practice in defense litigation.

Jenn is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and serves on the Board of Editors of the Connecticut Bar Journal.
