Attorney Jennifer A. Black, graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003, while there she earned the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award, was a Dean’s Scholar, and a Crane Foundation Scholarship Recipient; she served as a member of the Latin American Law Society, Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Public interest law project, and was a member of the CT Bar Association Trial Advocacy Team.
Prior to joining the Crumbie Law Group, Attorney Black represented a large Connecticut Public Housing Authority as its in-house General Counsel where her responsibilities included HUD compliance matters, HUD Audits, monitoring and maintaining federal procurement standards, Section 3 compliance, Fair Housing issues, and Freedom of Information requests. Attorney Black also conducted grievance hearings, supervised and handled summary process matters, drafted board resolutions, and drafted internal policies and procedures.
Attorney Black has deep knowledge and experience in public housing agency operations, housing choice voucher program, and she has earned certifications in procurement, contracting, and Section 3.
Attorney Black focuses her practice on general counsel representation of Public Housing agencies.
