Attorney Gregory Goodstein has practiced law for 25 years. He is a 1990 graduate, cum laude, of Wake Forest University and he earned his J.D. in 1994 from Western New England College School of Law. Attorney Goodstein’s practice is focused on Workers’ Compensation; Personal Injury; and Criminal Defense matters. Attorney Goodstein’s vast Workers’ Compensation experience includes many years defending such claims for several large, national insurance companies, during which he handled one insurer’s largest Workers' Compensation matters throughout 14 states where he had unilateral settlement and reserve authority of up to $500,000. Throughout his years of practice Attorney Goodstein has developed exceptional negotiation and case valuation skills in Personal Injury matters and as a result has settled more than 500 claims totaling over 3 million dollars.
Attorney Goodstein has served as a Connecticut Magistrate where he presided over small claims trials and related hearings; as a Mediator with the Connecticut Judicial Department; and as a prosecutor with the Connecticut Chief State’s Attorney’s Office. Attorney Goodstein additionally serves as a Hearing Officer for the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. He is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association; has served previously on the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section; and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Criminal Law Section where he serves as Secretary of that Committee.
